This weekend we had a co-op house work day in which we worked on various projects around the house. Our living room was painted, a rain barrel was installed, and my project was to clean one of the rooms in the basement.

the month of qudrat
The Baha'i month of Qudrat started on the evening of 3 November, and will go until the evening of 22 November. It's the thirteenth month of the Baha'i year (the Baha'i calendar has nineteen months of nineteen days each) and this month is precious to me in many ways.

A car-free lifestyle has numerous advantages. I don't have to worry about car payments, repair bills, rising gas prices, maintenance, shoveling out the car in the winter, or road conditions.
