two years as a baha'i
Two years ago this evening at 7:52 p.m. I signed a little blue-printed card declaring myself to be a Baha'i. Two years later, I still am trying to grasp the significance of that little event.

The face looked similar, and she appeared to be tall like my friend, but for the life of me couldn't tell whether it was her or not. So I decided to take a chance and request her as a friend. I figured, if it was her, then I'd be able to reunite with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time, and if it wasn't her, well, it didn't matter because this person wouldn't know me anyway.

This weekend we had a co-op house work day in which we worked on various projects around the house. Our living room was painted, a rain barrel was installed, and my project was to clean one of the rooms in the basement.
the month of qudrat
The Baha'i month of Qudrat started on the evening of 3 November, and will go until the evening of 22 November. It's the thirteenth month of the Baha'i year (the Baha'i calendar has nineteen months of nineteen days each) and this month is precious to me in many ways.

I've been bad about blogging recently. For the first two weeks it was due to writer's block, but in the last week or so we've had a problem with our Internet connection at our house.
